• Insurance is not very common in blackjack. However, if the dealer has an Ace, you can purchase insurance. This means you bet that the dealer has a blackjack and hence, you are safeguarding your interests or bet amounts. If the dealer has a blackjack, you receive payouts at 2:1 through insurance, and if the dealer does not have any blackjack, you lose your insurance money.
